Launching Oct 21st.
Enhance your mobility, flexibility and increase your strength with this unique Pilates class. In the Beginner classes we will focus on the foundational movements, set-up and re-visit the classic pilates repertoire with the added juiciness of the Tower.
Using springs rather than straps, we give our bodies the opportunity to receive direct feedback and find stability in functional movement patterns. Tower Pilates will challenge you in so many different ways to the reformer.
If you are a seasoned Pilates practitioner, or new to it, you are welcome to join our Tower classes. The exercises that you will do in this class are whats called ‘open-chain’ meaning that you will learn to do the stabilisation work rather than rely on the machine for support which happens in closed chain (the majority of reformer exercises).
**New to Tower? You must attend 5 beginners classes and be comfortable setting up the Tower before moving to our Intermediate level. -

Mat Beginners are suitable for new clients, those returning to the studio after injury or surgery or regulars who want to remind themselves of the basics.
It is a slower-paced class that teaches the foundations of movement and pilates mat exercises. It is a slower style class and for those looking for a more restorative session.
Mat pilates gives you the opportunity to learn about your body in different ways, to use your body weight to build strength and utilise the small equipment that we have in the studio.
Please make sure that you let your teacher know if you are suffering from any injury or physical restrictions so they can adapt for your body.
-
Restorative classes are for our clients looking for a more gentle class, whether you’re a regular who wants a slower paced class, returning from injury, are new to pilates yet nervous to start classes.
-
Intermediate mat classes are a mix of classical and contemporary exercises taught on the mat, using small equipment.
Mat classes are a great way to get grips with the basic principles of pilates without the support of the Reformer, teaching your body to move in a different way and understanding the core movement principles within pilates.
More challenging variations are provided during class for those who want to increase the intensity.
We recommend that all of our reformer clients try out mat classes, and attend on a regular basis as they can allow you to enhance & progress your reformer practice with fine tuning that sometimes isn’t possible on a reformer.
-
